 | Another 'blue jean' bandit suspect identified |
The Dawson County Sheriff's Office on Saturday identified a 17-year-old Atlanta teen as the sixth suspect apprehended after a smash-and-grab burglary attempt at a north Georgia outlet mall.
Demarcus Marcus Smith's name initially was withheld because he claimed to be a juvenile. Lt. Tony Wooten of the Dawson sheriff's office said further investigation found that to be false.
Smith and three others are being held without bond, and a fifth man is jailed on a $20,000 bond. A 26-year-old woman also charged in the robbery was released on bond Thursday.

 | Five 'Blue Jean Bandit' suspects identified |
The Dawson County Sheriff's Office on Thursday identified five of the six alleged "Blue Jean Bandits" who were reportedly caught after the foiled burglary of a Dawson County clothing store.
Four men and a woman ranging in age from 17 to 42 were arraigned Thursday morning in Dawson County Magistrate Court on charges ranging from burglary to conspiracy to commit theft, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and giving false names to police.
The unnamed individual was the person police believe drove the stolen 2000 Dodge Caravan used in the botched heist. Though police initially believed the driver was 16 years old, Dawson sheriff's Sgt. Tony Wooten said Thursday the suspect may have lied to investigators. That person remains in custody.
